Laura Widdows, M.P.T.

Laura graduated from Oakland University’s Masters of Physical Therapy program in 2003. Since this time, she has been working in a variety of outpatient orthopedic clinics, which has allowed her to treat a multitude of patient populations. Laura has also taken a variety of continuing education courses with an emphasis toward therapeutic and functional exercise. She strongly believes that patient education and exercise training is the key to healing and prevention of further injury.

Laura’s husband is a high school coach, which has led her to take a great interest in treating adolescent athletes. She also has a great love for treating total knee replacement patients.

At home, Laura is a mother of a four year old daughter and a one year old son. She spends much of her time at the zoo, in sand boxes, and at the YMCA.
