Sandy Czarniecki, P.T.

Sandra has worked as a physical therapist in the out-patient and home care settings since graduating from Wayne State’s Physical Therapy Program in 1990. She has been an integral part of the physical therapy teams at Bon Secours Hospital, Grosse Pointe, St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Pontiac, and Henry Ford Home Health Care. 
Manual therapy, as well as soft tissue work such as myofascial release, are an integral part of her treatments, with focus on sound biomechanics applied toward postural and core stability training. Training in gait dysfunction and balance issues help to round out an individual exercise program. Emphasis is placed on the source of the pain for a successful rehab.  She continues her education by taking a variety of orthopedic courses.

Her special interests are in total joint replacements, cervical and shoulder dysfunction, as well as multiple musculoskelatel issues. She also has a certificate in golf conditioning.

Sandra enjoys golf, swimming, fitness and is a former ice hockey player.
